Description
Sika® MultiPrimer Marine is a clear, solvent-containing, slightly yellowish primer that reacts to moisture and forms a thin layer. The layer acts as an adhesion promoter between the adhesive and the material. Sika® MultiPrimer Marine is used as an adhesion promoter prior to bonding with Sika one-component polyurethane adhesives and sealants.

Sika® MultiPrimer Marine is used to improve adhesion on many metals such as aluminum, steel, galvanized steel and non-ferrous metal, on wood such as teak, mahogany, Oregon pine and cork. The primer might also be used to enhance the adhesion of Sikasil® sealants and adhesives. Seek manufacturer’s advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sika® MultiPrimer Marine on materials prone to stress cracking. This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
