Each premium stainless steel pet bowl includes a bonded rubber ring around the outer edge to ensure a pleasant, noise-free dining experience. Good enough to serve humans, but meant for your pet! 

A note about Food-Safe (201) and Food-Grade (304) stainless bowls –
Both types are made of stainless that is food-safe and nontoxic. Almost all pet bowls on the market are made of 201 stainless. 
201 Stainless steel has a higher manganese content and is more susceptible to corrosion over time than 304 stainless, which is the grade deemed suitable for human use.

• 1-Quart Bowl: Holds up to 4 cups (Recommended fill: 3 to 3.5 cups to prevent spills). Ideal for small to medium dogs.

• 2-Quart Bowl: Holds up to 8 cups (Recommended fill: 6.5 to 7.5 cups to prevent spills). Ideal for medium to large dogs.

• 3-Quart Bowl: Holds up to 12 cups (Recommended fill: 10.5 to 11.5 cups to prevent spills). Ideal for large to extra-large dogs or multi-pet households.

Note: Capacity is measured in liquid volume. The actual weight of dry food will vary depending on the size and density of your dog’s kibble.
