Foil specific paddles have started to be released in the last couple years and this is AXIS’s paddle. The shape is specifically tuned for paddling downwind foil boards. The construction of paddles is very similar to foils which allows them to put their years of experience into it.
From AXIS:
We are introducing two new DW paddles, they are 80” and 70” in area. The 80” paddle has a 27mm thick paddle shaft with a braid woven carbon construction. The blade shape is powerful and suited to larger riders. The 70” paddle blade has a 26mm shaft with a braid woven carbon construction, the blade has a dihedral shape that is well suited to smaller riders

Paddles come uncut and unglued. Blades come with their own protective blade cover. If you need help cutting and glueing your paddle we are happy to help.
